A NEW WORD FOR AN OLD PROBLEM

IQjack?

Seriously. It's 2026.

When prejudice hijacks judgement—or someone hijacks a conversation with racism—there's a word for it.

SPOT IT. CHALLENGE IT. CHANGE THE CONVERSATION.

PREJUDICE ≠ A PERSONALITY ✳ GOOD HUMOUR DOESN'T NEED RACISM ✳ THINK BEFORE YOU POST ✳ PREJUDICE ≠ A PERSONALITY ✳

A small word.
A big mirror.

IQjack is a proposed, gender-neutral expression for a very familiar moment: when racial prejudice takes over someone's judgement—or takes over the conversation.

IQjack /eye-cue-jack/

noun Someone who lets racial prejudice hijack their judgement or hijacks a conversation with racist remarks.

IQjacking · verb Bringing racial prejudice into a conversation.

IQjacked · adjective A remark or judgement distorted by racial prejudice.

Important: IQjack isn't an IQ test, a diagnosis or a label for every disagreement. Racism is about prejudice and behaviour—not someone's measured intelligence. Challenge the remark, not a person's worth.

THE DAILY PAUSE ✳

A word, not a weapon.

Is IQjack already an established dictionary word? +

No. IQjack is a new proposed expression introduced in 2026. Whether it becomes part of everyday language depends on genuine, independent use over time.

Does IQjack mean someone has low IQ? +

No. The term is about prejudice hijacking judgement or a conversation. It makes no claim about anyone's measured intelligence or cognitive ability.

What if someone simply asks a question about culture? +

Respectful curiosity is not automatically racism. Consider context, stereotypes, intent and impact. This is why the game includes cases that are not IQjacking.

Should I post screenshots naming people? +

We don't encourage dogpiling, harassment or public accusations. Challenge harmful claims, support people affected and use platform reporting tools when necessary. If there is a safety risk, prioritise your wellbeing.

Who is behind the initiative? +

Another IQjack is an independent language and public-awareness initiative supported by Malak Foundation in Australia, intended to encourage reflection and constructive responses to everyday racism.
